The mopping system itself is capable cleaning up a significant portion of a space before returning to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of picking up debris and pet hair from carpets.The app that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides many options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start a full map and take care to clean everything that is that is mapped by the device or you can pick individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've created. There are many mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the space.The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just as all Roborock models that we've evaluated. Its navigation system is reliable that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does a great job of covering a room, leaving no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, however it is not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it may not be able recognize smaller items such as electrical wires and rug tassels.This device has a major problem: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of each session. The vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and traces that were left behind after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that helps this robot keep its cleanness a bit higher than its cheaper competitors.
